Application Overview
Parts and selection points for Fleet Maintenance
Delivery vans, light trucks, taxis and company car fleets put high mileage on brakes, cooling systems and wheels, so wear parts are replaced on a fixed service schedule. Fleet managers need the same part to arrive with the same quality on every reorder and need stock available when vehicles come in for service. Predictable lead times, standardized part numbers and warranty coverage matter more than one-off price.
- Standardize brake disc and drum part numbers across vehicles of the same model so replenishment orders stay simple and the stock stays interchangeable.
- For light commercial vehicles, choose 12-inch 6-hole wheels in the correct PCD, such as 5×139.7 or 6×139.7, that are rated for the vehicle's payload.
- Choose radiators that come with a warranty so you have recourse if a unit leaks or fails between service intervals.
- Plan reorders around confirmed lead times and in-stock items so high-use parts don't run out in peak season.
